Lada Myslik's special infrared transmitter test setup

This is so called "breadboard". Workign with this showed alway to be very unreliable for me (with high-frequency designs).

You can see 74ALS48 gate, 14.745 MHz crystal and MAXIM MAX3087 chip.

The transmitter is probably IR diode. There is something on the left. The function of the device is unknown to me.
